Amanda Crews is a seasoned horticulturalist with 15 years of comprehensive experience in organic agriculture. Her expertise spans large and small-scale farm management, permaculture design, greenhouse operations, and animal husbandry. Amanda's practical knowledge is rooted in hands-on experience gained through partnerships on diverse organic farms across California, Puerto Rico, Maine, and North Carolina. She successfully owned and operated a 16-acre permaculture farm, in Maine, specializing in no-till, regenerative farming practices, serving communities through CSA shares, farmers markets, wholesale, and on-site sales. Currently, she resides in beautiful Western North Carolina, where she nurtures both her family and her plants. She and her husband are raising their young daughter, guarded by their blue heeler. Amanda oversees four large greenhouses, focusing on the nursery production of native, medicinal, edible plants, and flowers.
